1. General Regulations

Members participating in the forum are requested to strictly comply with all provisions in the Forum Regulations and any additional regulations as necessary (if applicable).

2. Scope of Application

The Management Board, Organizing Committee, Forum Sponsors, Forum Members, and all individuals and organizations participating in the forum are responsible for strictly adhering to the provisions of these Regulations.

3. Terminology Explanation

a. Forum: Refers to the Vietnam Industrial Park Forum 2024.  

b. Forum Organizing Committee: Consists of individuals and organizations with the capacity to participate in organizing the forum’s activities. The Organizing Committee ensures that the activities fulfill the forum’s mission and acts as the forum’s representative to relevant parties. The Organizing Committee is responsible for the overall management of the forum. The head of the Organizing Committee is the Forum Director.  

c. Sponsorship/Coordinating Committee: Consists of individuals and organizations that voluntarily contribute resources to the organization of the forum. Resources include, but are not limited to, financial support, infrastructure, operational management, human resources, media, etc., to support the forum’s activities. The Sponsorship Committee is entitled to benefits as agreed upon and mutually consented to in a sponsorship contract.  

d. Management Board: The Management Board of the Vietnam Industrial Park Forum 2024 (Management Board) consists of outstanding individuals who serve as official speakers, uphold the mission and values of the forum, lead the forum’s content, and promote activities to ensure the effective and accurate achievement of the set objectives.  

e. Sponsor: Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association; Co-Sponsor: IDH Organization, Netherlands.  

f. Coordinating unit: Vietnam Industrial Zone Portal Corporation.

4. Prohibited Actions

a. It is strictly forbidden to present, discuss, disseminate, or propagate content that is reactionary, opposes the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State, or the people of Vietnam.  

b. The forum must not be used to post, cite, or discuss harmful content related to politics, religion, ethnicity, or other sensitive matters.  

c. The forum must not be used to promote or advocate for obscene cultural content, activities that violate the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, or actions that contravene Vietnamese cultural values and traditions.  

d. The forum must not be used to post or present anonymous, baseless accusations or criticisms.  

e. The use of uncivilized, offensive language or language that violates common ethical standards is prohibited. Attacking, slandering, or insulting other members, as well as inciting, defaming, or infringing upon the reputation or dignity of any individual or organization, is not allowed.  

f. Violations of Vietnam’s Intellectual Property Law are prohibited. Copyrights must be absolutely respected.  

g. It is forbidden to sabotage, cause harm, or affect the forum’s database; disrupt or overload systems or personal computers through harmful links, spamming posts, emails, or messages; or engage in hacking, unauthorized access, or illegal use of the forum’s network systems for any purpose.

5. Regulations on Language Use

a. The official languages used in the Forum are standard Vietnamese and English. All presentations, discussions, and exchanges must adhere to cultural norms in communication, prohibiting the use of language that violates community customs, such as profanity, swearing, slang, or offensive terms that may cause disunity within the Forum.  

b. When citing other languages, a translation must be provided, except for terms related to specialized fields or those commonly used.

6. Regulations on Presentation and Discussion

a. Speakers’ presentations must be submitted in accordance with the designated sections of the Forum.  

b. Created topics must be general in nature to encourage participation and discussion from other members and must not duplicate existing topics.

7. Measures for Handling Violations

a. All members participating in the Forum are equal before the Forum’s regulations.  

b. In case of violations of the Forum Regulations, depending on the specific case, the violating member may be subject to measures such as reminders or warnings.

8. Rights, Obligations, and Responsibilities of Members

a. Rights

- The right to contribute presentations, papers, and opinions for discussion at the Forum. All information presented at the Forum is copyrighted by the author and the Forum. Any use or citation must comply with Vietnam’s Intellectual Property Law and related legal regulations of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.  

- The right to access the Forum’s resources.  

- The right to use free resources presented at the Forum or to contribute to the Forum’s resource pool.  

- The right to provide feedback, suggestions for improving the Forum, and to file complaints regarding other members or the Management Board for actions that violate regulations or are excessively strict.  

b. Obligations and Responsibilities

- Strictly adhere to the Forum’s regulations.  

- Maintain and promote a spirit of unity, contribution, and sharing, while upholding humanitarian values and behaving in a cultured manner.  

- Build and protect the reputation of the Vietnam Industrial Park Forum 2024.
